I bought Duncan Hine’s Red Velvet cake mix for my dad’s birthday this past weekend. Everyone loved it! I’m totally gonna buy the mix again soon for my parents’ wedding anniversary on Valentine’s Day. :) This time I think I’ll make heart-shaped cookies!

032(2)/365 - Harry Judd on the cover of Attitude.
What I like about this Barnes & Noble is that they have international magazines that we don’t usually have in the US. But when I saw Harry Judd’s picture in a sea of other magazines, I felt like I just went into his room and accidentally saw him almost naked. So, naturally, I nearly ran out of the store.
I just can’t take any McFLY member seriously when they pose nearly nude in magazine spreads (specifically Attitude). It’s just weird & uncomfortable. That’s why I took a picture of the upper half of the magazine…
032(1)/365 - favorite views: The Americana in Glendale
Taken on the third floor balcony at Barnes & Noble. This is one of my favorite views at The Americana at Brand in Glendale, CA. The sun was out, but it was a little chilly! Here’s some excerpt of what I wrote in my journal while I sat:
Currently on the third floor balcony at Barnes & Noble in The Americana. Bruno Mars is playing & I suddenly got chills (It was loud. It was nice hearing him through the speakers). I’m sitting down because I’m tired of walking (I have been walking around for a while before I wrote this).
(After the Bruno song) Is that Michael Buble singing?!!?!!?
It is suddenly chilly. I’m going back inside to keep warm.
It never was warm when I went back inside. Oh well. The view was nice to look at. Little kids running around the green grass pretending they’re flying with their arms wide. It was a very nice day indeeed.

My favorite show since 2007, (but officially since 2010) is ending.
I can’t comprehend my feelings for the last few episodes I just watched. I can’t even tell you how sad I am that it’s going to end.
5 seasons. Such a good run…despite the disaster that was 3/4 of season 3 & maybe season 4..

025/365 - lemon bars part 2
There’s probably a dozen lemons still left on the table but I think they’re getting close to rotting this time. :( .. Therefore I baked lemon bars again. They were less sweet & thinner than the first try. I think this time I just added a little too much powdered sugar.
